New Patio

Well, we're still trying to grow some grass around the edges of our new patio so that's still a work in progress. But this is the new stamped concrete patio we had installed last month. We had the door and stairs put in from the porch. Eventually we'll be painting the pressure treated wood white, but since you have to let it weather a little before you do that, we'll probably tackle that project next year. We love the new outdoor space! We're out there every day and night enjoying it!

The process of having the concrete installed was quite involved. We had to take pictures during the process. They make a frame first, put stones and wire down, pour tinted concrete, smooth it out and let it dry a little, then they throw a tinted powder on it and stamp the whole thing. After that dries, they wash the powder off and add a clear sealant to the top for the finished look.

I love your stamped patio, I live in your area, who did you use and is it very expensive to have done? I'm new to blogging, you can follow my blog at http://oceanbreezesandcountrysneezes.blogspot.com/

Thankyou,
Have a happy and safe day!

The Selkie - Thanks!
We used a landscaping company called Pinnacle and it's fairly expensive at $14/sq ft for the labor and materials. For us it was totally worth the investment for how much time we spend outside and for how long it will last with barely any maintenance compared to a deck. I hope the information helps!
